Can I switch off all bulbs with Alexa? 2018-01-04T19:17:56+00:00

In order to turn off all bulbs, you need to create a group in your Alexa APP. Add each individual name to that group. Then you can control them together. Unfortunately you cannot import the scenes from our APP to Alexa.

How to use Scenes in Amazon Alexa/Echo?

At this point you cannot use the scenes in the mimoodz wifi APP in your Amazon Alexa/Echo.

But there is a small workaround.

1. Open your Amazon Alexa APP after you installed the bulbs and you downloaded the skill “mimoodz”.

2. Go to “Smart Home” in your Alexa APP

3. And here you can create new groups.

4. These groups  can be controlled with your voice.

Can the bluetooth mimoodz LED bulbs work with Amazon Echo? 2017-07-10T06:51:46+00:00

No, the Bluetooth bulbs only work via Bluetooth from your smart phone to the bulb. There is no interaction with any other devices. We know some Bluetooth bulbs offer that, but in order to do so they require an extra hub or a gateway that makes things more expensive. o we decided not to build any hubs, and only offer the Wifi bulbs.

(1). Download our “mimoodz wifi” app in Google Play or iOS App Store;
(2). Register a new account in the “mimoodz wifi” app (or login if you’re already registered).
(3). Connect the mimoodz smart devices and use the “mimoodz wifi” app to configure it;
(4). IMPORTANT: You can rename your devices in the mimoodz app, and Alexa will exactly refer to that name. So if you rename a smart bulb to be called “Kitchen” or a nickname like “Workshop”, then Alexa will use that same nickname later on.

Alternatively, you create an Alexa group, like “Livingroom” or “Downstairs”, and add the device to the group. Alexa will recognize the Group name in the Alexa app, or the device name in the mimoodz app. More information is available at https://www.amazon.com/…

(5). Download Amazon “Alexa” app from Amazon Market, Google Play or iOS App Store;
(6). Configure Echo with “Alexa” app;
(7). Search the Alexa Skills directory for “mimoodz”;
(8). Click Enable skill of “mimoodz”, and you’ll be navigated to a login page;
(9). Input your account username and password, you’ll be redirect to the success page;
(10). Now all setup is finished. Please follow the instructions to start to use “mimoodz” skills:

“Alexa,turn off the bedroom light.”
“Alexa,set the bedroom light to 30%.”

Push the reset button for at least 5 seconds. Then the light starts blinking.

A light bulb must be screwed in for a reset. Switch off the wall switch 4 times very fast. Then the bulb needs to start blinking.

This is very easy. Just go to scenes/moods. Add one new mood. Name it on the top. Look for a nice photo that reminds your of that room, or simple take a photo, save it and use it. Then mark each device that you see and you would like to add in that room. You can set them up all different or the same.

We also call them moods. A group of bulbs or other devices that work together. Example. You have 3 SMART RGB A19 Light bulbs from us. The presetting is set for a ROMANTIC MOOD. If you hit that scene, all bulbs which can will turn into the color red. You can add scenes/moods or call them ROOMS to.

Download the APP “mimoodz wifi ” in the appstore or google store, install it on your phone. REGISTER yourself. Then login. Don’t forget your password. Keep it safe.

Check if your network is online. Check if your phone has WIFI network enabled.

Screw them in, switch off 4 times very fast via wall switch – ten wait. The bulbs should flash- this means they have lost all settings. Then open your APP on your phone. Go to device – then hit “+”  and click “next”. Check if you have the right network, then enter the password of your network. Your phone is now teaching the bulbs your network name and it’s password. The bulb is installing. Please wait until succeed!. Enjoy your new product.
